Founded as a professional safety inspection and consulting service in 1969,
Cox & Smith Risk Management takes pride in its exemplary record
of developing and implementing high quality customized safety and loss prevention
programs. Chairman and Founder Charles A. Smith is a registered Professional Engineer
in Safety Engineering (State of California Certificate #SF 2657) with over 40 years
experience in loss control, consulting, safety program design. Although our firm
does provide Safety Engineering services, customized safety program design, loss
prevention program management, and insurance value appraisals, our primary operation
remains underwriting surveys for all commercial lines of coverage.
